Homebound Services

The North Battleford Library wishes to be accessible to all users. Homebound Services supplies library material to people who are unable to visit the library. We strive to enhance an individual’s quality of life and promote the joy of lifelong by making the library accessible to all. This service is provided FREE to North Battleford residents.

Eligibility:

Any person who is confined at home or in a health care institution within North Battleford and is unable to visit the library personally because of chronic or temporary disability or illness. This service is available for all ages for short term or long term needs.

What kind of materials can the library deliver?

Audio books, large and regular print books, paper backs, magazines, DVDs and CDs are available to borrow and for delivery.

How do I apply?

It’s simple to join Homebound Services! Follow 3 steps:

  1. Apply for a library card if you do not have one already.
  2. Fill out an application Homebound Services Application in advance or during the first homebound visit.
  3. Schedule your first visit with a library staff or volunteer and start enjoying your library material.

Tip! A patron registered for Home Bound Services may call or email the library to request specific titles, or they can request that a librarian select materials based on the patron’s reading preferences as specified in the initial application form.
